PPL are in the business of quality lithographic printing and print control,
from the marketing concept through to the onset of bulk production in
packaging and electronic products. We are continuously striving towards
improving our expertise and making further technological advances.
Who are McLellans?
 McLellan
PPL have been in business for 21 years, operating a service covering
all aspects of printing, particularly in high quality cartons, metal
decoration, limited edition printing and electronic components. We have
exclusively printed by UV for over 14 years.
 We
not only print onto paper, board and tin plate metal, but on a wide
variety of substrates including vinyl, shrink-wrap, and high impact
polystyrene. We have experience in using numerous imaging systems including
conventional, elliptical, and stochastic dot patterns and also encompassing
the latest technology using the hexachrome process. Our services are
employed throughout the industry in high quality, controlled print analysis.
We are noted for our expertise and knowledge in the manufacture of products
for the marketing of packaging and electronic components. In addition
we provide second surface printing of plastic subtrates for in-mould
decoration.
Who are the staff?
 McLellan
PPL employ a staff of eleven, six lithographers plus an apprentice,
one lithographic platemaker, one administrator, and three printing assistants.
Brian Armstrong is the production manager; he served his time at McLellan
PPL , and has been within the company for 17 years. His brother Ian
Armstrong, the foreman, has been with the company 14 years. The remainder
of the staff have been with the company for an average of at least five
years. The company prides itself in looking after good staff and retaining
their skills in a busy, but happy, working environment.
